Ana Corredera Quintana was born in 1967. She is currently the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia since her appointment by Decree 25/2019 of 26 January. She is graduated in French Translation and began her political career in 1990 in the Partido Popular of Antequera. She has been a member of the Town Council of Antequera twice, during 1991-1994 and 2003-2008, and has been a Member of the Andalusian Parliament since 1994, where she has been the Spokesperson for Social Services, Innovation, Science, Business and University, and subsequently the Spokesperson and Head of Health until 2015. In January 2017, she joined the Ministry of Internal Affairs as an Advisor and then worked as Technical Director for Employment, European Resources, and New Technologies in the Provincial Council of Malaga until her appointment in 2019 as Regional Deputy Minister.

As Regional Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development, her duties include promoting and coordinating the implementation, development, and monitoring of the Andalusian Strategy for Circular Bioeconomy, in collaboration with other public or private bodies and entities involved in the field.
